I'm not writing a long post about this but in the study for yesterday, in Seeking Him, a question was asked about distress. What does distress drive you to do?
The text book answer is that it should drive us to the Lord and allow him to give us calm in the mids.
But in reality, what does distress usually drive you to do? Honestly, sometimes it drives me to cry, to complain, to withdraw and retreat, to raise my voice, but in the study we are reminded that distress should drive us to our knees!
